<p>i’m new to this forum so i hope im asking this in the right way and place…i’m a junior in highschool and im honestly VERY confused on how to get into my first choice college, let alone any college at all. i can’t say im a genius or anything but i do decent in school, i slacked off last year and ended up with a 3.3 for the year but i’ve managed a 3.9 so far this year and i’m planning on bringing that up even more. everyone on here seems pretty helpful so i was wondering what it takes to get into a school like virginia tech, what i should do to start preparing and anything else you think i should know?!</p>
<p>Go to VT’s website and search admissions - they have a link entitled “what we look for”.
That helped us. My son was just accepted to VT - he applied ED.
