My understanding is that VT must have the FAFSA data before deciding any awards, including merit.

Of course, I just saw that VT said somewhere it had put 10k on the waitlist last year which seemed so high so I wondered if they just default put people on the waitlist, I was trying to figure out it if it was an actual option- although since they said they accepted 0 off the waitlist last year I guess I really have my answer anyway!

Anyone knows if admitted students day include a tour of the campus and dorms? We have yet to visit and wanted to wait for acceptance before doing so. It’s a 7 hr drive for us.
