Who remembers what was on the website regarding release date? It now says “late February”. Did it used to say mid to late???
I recall that it said mid Feb when we applied and then changed to late Feb later. But according to some poster above they called the admission office and were told mid Feb. So fingers crossed that we get the decision on Valentine’s Day (Friday Feb 14)

We also had that added today, later afternoon it was not there when I fist checked link. I think it is referring to the student not filing taxes and waiving in Fafsa…trying to remember exactly what it was in reference to? I feel like I remember that being a thing? It also had something about new student and said Summer 2025… who knows, I choose not to read into it as VT is the first of my kids top choices to come out. Pins and needles…

Anyone go on to Hokie Spa and now see room selection, meal plan selection, etc. I swear last week that was unavailable but I’m really not sure.
Okay, whew! Someone at my son’s school said it had changed, glad to hear it wasn’t a recent change. I’m still anticipating a release this Friday. Fingers crossed.
That’s been on there. I’ve seen it because I login several times a week to see if the portal changed

We have the Fafsa, then general scholarship app, then the household dependent worksheet thing that popped in this afternoon. And the satisfactory thing- new student not yet evaluated… daughter is OOS EA

I was able to log on , but not get into much of anything. So I’m sure it means nothing. Just hoping for some portal astrology

The only thing we have is general scholarship application, but the FAFSA form isn’t listed as completed and processed even though it is confirmed that we finished back in December. Should this be a matter of discussion with the financial aid team?
You can find the 9 digit student ID by using the update address icon. If you are bold, you can use the ID to try to create a VT username, which I think is the process a student would follow if admitted. This can be found using the create VT username.
Campus is closed tomorrow so definitely not seeing anything on Tuesday and hope it doesn’t push anything.

Is the household worksheet just for familiar who filed the FASFA? I’m not seeing it but we didn’t file.
Where is the update address icon? On the financial aid page or just the admissions portal?
