Same boat for us FSU and UF did not like us out of staters. Good thing we had no intention of having our kid go there but it now has us nervous about VT.
I think VT considers more OOS -I am in the same boat - in MA - but when I looked in the past couple of years of their common data set and calculated the oos admissions it wasn’t nearly as low as FSU and I didn’t even bother with UF…

Honors there is brutally tough.
Make sure you understand what honors entails.
It is not the same at every school.
FSU has living learning communities that will have enrichment too if that interests you.

If they were to release today (which we don’t know) it will likely be at 5. If not today it will most definitely be next Friday

Nah it’s just on the CDS they always mark the 22nd as the day the release despite actually having it occur a couple days before. It’s also traditionally at 5
