It shows on your guest account (application status page), and you also get a packet in the mail a couple days later. I don’t remember getting an email but you might
Does it just say like “Admissions decision” or something on the page you get after you log in? I applied to engineering and am hoping to hear today…

Update on engineering decision release date: I just called the admissions office and they said they might not even release decisions until May 1, even though before they said April 28. The guy was very noncommittal…so it could basically be anytime this week. Kind of annoying.

When you log in here: https://banweb.banner.vt.edu/ssb/prod/gzbkwbis.P_WWWLogin
And you get to the “Application Summary” page (application info → summer II/Fall), Under “Application Data” It says “Decision”. It will say like “offered admission, pay fee now” or something similar. I doubt you will have any problem getting in, don’t worry about it
