<p>I;d wager just about all of the bullying happened in high school, and not at VT. I’ve <em>never</em> seen an instances of bullying at my university. Between the maturation that happens after age 18, and the thinning of the herd that is the college selection process, it just ceases to become an issue.</p>

<p>That is where the media is now taking this (to the point of pornography) and copy cat threats are springing up all over the country with the attention being (mis)directed here repeatedly to this killer. </p>
<p>The lives of his victims, how to address such emergencies, mental health care and protocol, gun issues, etc. are the “value” to this story, not this narcissistic miscreant. </p>
<p>He was laughed at in high school… At some point just about everyone goes through this adolescent “hazing” without becoming a mass murderer.</p>
