<p>Hey everyone, I am a freshman currently attending another 4 year University but I am planning to transfer to Virginia Tech. I was recently caught with alcohol in the dorm and was wondering if Virginia Tech asked for student records from transfer students. Anyone know?</p>

<p>It doesn’t look like they have a College Official’s form like the CA, they only want your college transcript, so it depends on if your school marks disciplinary action on the transcript.</p>

<p>However, you do have to answer their Community Standards on their application:</p>

<p>so if your hall coordinator put me on probation, I should make a change in the application? This just happened recently after I had already submitted the application</p>

<p>it says honor or academic probation… im not completely sure if being put on probation from alcohol is an “honor” probation. I thought that would be cheating on a test, etc. but I could be wrong</p>

<p>I think you should talk to someone at your school as disciplinary action varies between colleges. I brought it to your attention since it might apply to your situation, but it is up to you to find out whether or not any boxes need to be checked.</p>
