Virginia Tech Thanks The World

BLACKSBURG, Va., November 14, 2007 – A “Hokies Thank The World” event will take place Saturday, Nov. 17, from 10:35 to 11:12 a.m. at the Virginia Tech Drillfield in Blacksburg., rain or shine.</p>

<p>The event will bring together thousands of students, faculty, staff, and friends to spell out a message of thanks to the world for the global outpouring of support for the Virginia Tech community following the events of April 16.

<p>I was so glad that everything worked out for the photo. It was partly cloudy in Blacksburg Saturday morning, so there was a chance that they wouldn’t get a clear view of the field from the satellite. What a beautiful tribute to everyone who held VT in their thoughts and prayers that very sad day last April.</p>
