Did you get into VT as “undeclared”?
Do you know the conditions to get into any of your majors at VT?
Would you be ok majoring in something non technical, whether arts&sciences or business?
For reference, these are the requirements to declare any Engineering major at VT if you’ve not been admitted as an Engineering major or as pre Engineering/Engineering undecided:

There’s one class that you can only take in the Spring and you won’t be able to take any CS or science class (except those classes offered to non majors).
