Virtual classes at large schools

Hello,
I am in the process of helping my junior daughter research colleges. She wants business, large (10k+ undergrads), active social scene w/o joining sorority, prefers warm weather, ok up to $60k/yr. She absolutely does NOT want virtual classes. Large lecture hall is fine but does not want to be in front of a computer.
How can i figure out which schools use virtual classes? Or in your experiences, which do and dont?
Thank you

If the school has a schedule of classes online, check it to see if common courses that a business major would take are commonly offered in virtual / remote / distance format.

I think most big schools use virtual classes in some capacity. If a class is 100% virtual, it should be designated as such before a student registers for classes (ex. Psych 100 vs Psych 100V with the V indicating that it is virtual.)

The question is, how much latitude does a professor have to change an in person class to virtual after students have registered?

Do you mind sharing what state you are in or what region of the US you are looking?

All of my kids went to large public universities, they always offered virtual, still do, but they are a choice. One of my kids discovered she loved asynchronous classes during the COVID shutdown, and would sign up for some even if she could’ve taken them in person.

I have two kids at large public universities, both in business schools and they both have had online classes. I believe it has been that way for years for some of the classes, even before Covid. My son actually likes doing some of his online but my daughter does not love it. She is a senior this year and I think she took around 4 or 5 classes total online while she was there. It ended up being fine, and allowed her to work her internship job a little easier, especially with the asynchronous online classes. From what I hear as well from their friends at other schools in business, they all have an online class at some point at the larger schools.

Thanks for the replies. We are in NJ and she wants to go south (no surprise).
Thanks for the suggestions to look at course catelogs.
She had virtual classes during covid. Not looking to go back!

My NJ daughter is a senior finance major/math minor at Clemson, she had enough credits to graduate last year but is taking as many classes possible to prepare for actuary exams (and truth be told, we will be dragging her home kicking and screaming in May), she’s never had a virtual class.
