Virtual College Visits for International student [Indian] who'd be applying for undergrad for Fall 2025 intake

Hi all,
Since campus visits is not going to be a possibility, I wanted to seek recommendation on Virtual tours/videos, without too much overwhelming content but would give a good feel of what college life is like - facilities (including sports), Dorms, Food, weather etc.
Any recommendations for virtual campus visits.

Regards

Many (perhaps most?) schools have virtual online information sessions that you can register for. You’ll also find YouTube and Instagram videos of student life, but be aware these can often be biased (either positively or negatively), so use your judgement and view a variety of sources.

It’s not just about the campus. You do understand that, right? Weather, social events in a nearby town, medical facility locations, etc. adversely impact how you live in the surrounding campus community.

Some schools are out in the middle of the boonies. Some schools have locations that are not a direct route from an airport. Some schools, like many of the California schools, are car based. There is a lack of good public transportation so everyone drives cars.

So take a look at your virtual tours but know that they can’t answer the questions that you need. Do you want a vibrant social life outside of the campus? Do you like the peace and quiet of a location like Dartmouth?

It’s not just about the name of the campus. It’s about the location and if you will be happy there for four years.

Yes indeed a simple such and it throws out many links to campus tour videos on social media and many others. Hence, the question, if there is a ‘trusted’ source that can be looked up - not an advertisement video.

Completely agree and thank you for outlining a few specifics - like commute etc challenges that I was oblivion to.
