JOB TITLE: Virtualization and Cloud Computing Research Internship
JOB CODE: 6VEC08</p>

<p>JOB SUMMARY:
Position will support the Business Development Group/IT Operations Team. </p>

<p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Research current trends in Virtualization/Cloud Computing technologies
·Install and configure testing environments
·Work with the other members of the team to define milestones and goals
·Document the results
·Any additional duties as assigned by manager</p>

<p>REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
·In the process of obtaining or have obtained a degree in Computer Science or related field
·Basic knowledge/experience in Linux, BASH shell usage
·Must be a self-starter, have good interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills</p>

<p>PREFERRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
·Knowledge of or experience with virtualization and cloud computing technology, such as, AWS, Hadoop, similar or related
·Knowledge of Open Source applications related to benchmarking computers
·Knowledge of Linux administration and installation
·Knowledge of BASH and/or PERL scripting
·Knowledge of programming in Python or C
·Knowledge of PHP/CGI/Web-related programming is a plus</p>
