<p>I’m planning on visiting Sewanee in October. I am planning on using Groome Transportation from Nashville to get to Monteagle. Sewanee says that the walk from Monteagle to Sewanee is not walkable, and a ride must be arranged (although there are no cab/taxi services.) Is it truly not walkable? If so, does anyone have any ideas for transportation from Monteagle to the Sewanee campus?</p>
<p>I would call Admissions and ask this question. I’m sure someone cou,d run over and pick you up.</p>
<p>It depends on your definition of walkable. It’s a good 6 miles, but there’s no steep hills to climb or interstates to walk along.</p>
<p>Is it possible to bring a bike on the bus or whatever it is? That would make it easy and it should be no problem finding somewhere to lock it up on campus.</p>
