Visiting Student

I’m a student of physics at ETH Zurich and I’m planning to attend an american university as a visiting student next fall. Princeton is an option. How can I organizate it? Is there a special application and do I have to do any tests? Is the “admission” as a visiting student competitive?
Thank you :)

Swissnerd, are you an undergrad or graduate student? If you are a grad student, I know that there are visiting grad students. I think they are called visiting research associates, and there is an application for that. I’m not sure about undergrad, but since your query is physics specific, have you tried contacting someone in the Princeton physics department? Go to Princeton.edu, then to Academics, then to Physics dept. There will be contact info.there, at least the email address of someone to contact with your questions.
It seems Princeton would be a great place to visit for Physics, with several Nobel laureates on faculty, and the plasma physics lab…
so good luck!
