GRP: the e-school holds tours daily and on Saturdays as well. While I was a guide and might be bias, I think they’re better than the overall/main Grounds tour. It’s run by SEAS students and we talk about everything and anything e-school (the different majors, first year classes, typical schoolday/workload, go through the various buildings, etc) and are happy to answer any other questions too (first year dorms, food, Grounds, etc). It’s a much, much more personal tour since there’s anywhere from a few families to a group of 15-20. On DOTL they staff extra guides to keep the groups smaller and more manageable so that everyone has a chance to ask questions.

Please please look into going on a SEAS tour!! We go right through (or at least used to) the MechE building and give lots of details on the labs/research! We can also point you to the right faculty or SEAS staff/resource to talk to :)
