<p>Does the university of Chicago offer official visits for athletes or are they all unofficial? If they do offer official visits to athletes, what exactly do they pay for(airfare, room & board, meals, etc.)?</p>

<p>U of C is a Division III school. They do not offer athletic scholarships, nor can they offer “official athletic visits”. They can offer official visits, but the visit must be based on something all prospective students could qualify for. If you were offered an official visit, I believe they can do any combination of travel expenses, room/board, entertainment expenses (usually tickets to an athletic event).</p>
