My D27 was recently accepted to the virtual Voices of Tufts. Can anyone provide insight into their experience with this? I read that in past years it has had a 10% acceptance rate so also wondering if it helps with admissions.
Can’t speak to it but given the description, it does seem like they are identifying, perhaps, lower income an/or URMs so I can’t imagine they’d have a program like this where it doesn’t help. I assume you had to submit info like a transcript, etc.

If nothing else it helps with demonstrated interesting (as you had to fill out an application, which involved an essay:) and showing up takes a lot of time!
If I had to guess, since kids are pre-screened (transcript, essay etc), I would guess acceptance rates from kids who attend is pretty high in relation to published rates, as the kids area already somewhat vetted for academics and what they are looking for:) I have zero inside knowledge, that is just logical… and they are doing it to find kids who will be high yield, too I imagine. By no means a guarantee though.
