yah i want to do volunteer work that will rack up a lot of hours
plus that is extraordinary (something that will stick out)
any ideas?

What issues or social concerns do you care about? You need to figure that out, and then find ways of implementing some projects to address those concerns.

That’s how you find volunteer work that will “stick out.” You don’t find such volunteer work by getting others’ ideas, but by following your heart.

If you don’t care about social concerns or issues, then spend your time pursuing an EC or job that you do care about. Volunteer work is not required for college entrance.

A question: Even though I am volunteering at the medical center and peer tutoring at school, what if I’m not old enough to get a good job? I want to work, but I’m only fifteen, and thus I can’t get a job until after junior year.
