Vote on who is more desirable

<p>OK. I’m struggling with which of the following 2 different student profiles is more desirable to the top schools. See both on this board. </p>

<p>Student #1- 3.9UW, 4.3+W. 29-30 ACT or 1900-2050 SAT. Loaded with EC’s. Essays OK. This is the very hard working student that does not test as well and/or isn’t a great critical thinker or writer</p>

<p>Student #2 - 3.7-.3.8 UW. 4.1 W. 33+ on ACT. 2150+ on SAT. Moderate EC’s but with a consistent theme. Great essay. This is the smart slightly underachieving (for now) student that has not loaded up their schedule…maybe peak later in life.</p>

<p>Who do you pick. I’m leaning #2 but am sure many disagree?</p>
