Hello,
Just expanding a bit more on @DramaMama2021 ‘s earlier thread, and specifically on the Princeton Review rankings recently released, I was really impressed and pleased to see W&L ranked so highly on many important metrics.
I’m not sure how the formatting will turn out below (as I’m weak on some CC formatting tools) but the school ranked tops in the nation for both financial aid and the classroom experience. That’s an incredible combination.
I think it will surprise many to also find the school ranked #3 as the “Friendliest Students”, and #6 as the “Happiest Students” because too often I perceive it has a reputation (incorrectly) for not been being welcoming of diverse individuals and views. Also surprising is the Top 20 ranking in “Green Matters” and conservation. Not how many view the institution.
Need blind admissions should draw more attention and continue the school’s legacy of developing students prepared for “Making An Impact” (Top 20 in that category too btw).
And yes, I note and include the rankings related to alcohol consumption but that’s something that individuals can decide and control themselves.
Anyway I just created this thread in hopes that people who don’t know much about the school (or believe they know it already by reputation alone) will be encouraged to explore it more.
