W&M vs Lafayette?

I have been accepted to both colleges and am trying to decide which to attend. I am looking for lots of discussion-based classes with interdisciplinary learning. I am also looking to conduct research in an interdisciplinary subject (namely religion, physics and psychology). I am also looking to participate in the orchestra as a violinist and am interested in entrepreneurship opportunities. Is Lafayette “better” than W&M considering it is a private institution and has a larger endowment per student? I am looking for a school that is not dominated by athletics or Greek life. I am also looking for a college experience that is more life of a mind as opposed to learning for the sake of my career. I don’t want to go to a school that is too academically intense as I would like to focus on my extracurricular activities as well. Is it more worth my money to go to W&M or Lafayette? (I am OOS for W&M)

Though this analysis is a little older, it nonetheless should give you a comparative idea as to the academic attributes of W&M, based on the profile of the students who choose it: https://amp.businessinsider.com/the-610-smartest-colleges-in-america-2015-9.
