<p>3.87W?? What is your unweighted GPA? Cornell and Harvey Mudd are definately big reaches, but I think Vanderbilt and CMU might be big reaches as well, depending on your unweighted GPA.</p>

<p>Harvey Mudd is a very self-selective pool, so the high 30’s to low 40’s acceptance percentage is somewhat misleading.</p>
<p>ooohhh with a 3.4, Carnegie Mellon and Vanderbilt might be more of a reach than i thought. You still have a good shot at BU. U Rochester is a great school (better academics than BU) and I think you have a good shot at it as well. You might also want to check out Case Western Reserve. It’s well-known for its top med school (like U Rochester) and has great engineering, math, and science. In fact, 40% of the freshman there are engineering majors.</p>
<p>your gpa and test scores will keep you from getting into carnegie or harvey, but other schools you have a pretty good shot, good luck.</p>
<p>cool thanks guys. I don’t think i’ll make it into cornell, but it was worth a shot. I’ve always wanted to go to Harvey Mudd and Carnegie Mellon since beginning of Sophomore year and I’ve wanted to go to Vanderbilt since Junior Year. I know I don’t have the stats for it, but i hope my teachers wrote a good recommendation and my good essays will help me get into the schools. I think I’ll apply to U of Rochester and Santa Clara University too. I know I have a decent shot at those.</p>
