I’d like to hear from students currently at Princeton who were taken from the wait list.

While the form letter does its best to assure students that waitlisted candidates are perfectly qualified to attend–it’s just that there aren’t enough spots–I was wondering if students who’ve come off the list feel any kind of worry or doubt about being as capable as those admitted ED or RD. I HAVE heard of several students ultimately rejecting the spot once it became available because they had already developed a more affectionate relationship with the school that accepted them outright.

Thoughts?
