Waiting is painful :(

Waiting for decision is painful, but waiting and checking CC is 100x the pain!!! but i still check this forum regularly, i guess i enjoy being tortured :(

i think we were waiting together last year for Dartmouth too (?)… but all i can say is i’m pretty sure it never gets any easier, sad to say. maybe even harder. cheery thought, isn’t it?

i will light a candle on my admissions shrine for you, newbyreborn.

yeah, waiting i pretty painful. it’s different than last year though. this year, i’ve got oodles of college work to occupy my time, but yes, it’s still very painful.

i almost don’t even care if i get in at this point - i just want to KNOW already.

your sn would say otherwise, transferobsesed… don’t lose hope now. not to say i have much for myself, but as long as our forms are in, we’re in the running, and that’s the best we can do. we just have to believe it, heh. anyway, best of luck to everyone. we can make it.

thanks truegibberish! what schools are you waiting for?

yes we were!
i am attending a university in canada right now, how about you? did you only apply to dmouth this year?
best of luck, stay strong

thanks alot :D, but since candles create gas which contribute to global warming, i’ll grow another tree in my backyard to help to suck up that gas
best of luck to everyone :D

Yup, cuz everyone here has super awesome stats, and it makes me nervous to know what kinda ppl I’m competing with.

Yeah…it is nerve-racking knowing who you are competing with…but I would think the people on this forum would be some of the best, not the average…or so I keep telling myself

^ Haha exactly what I keep telling myself.

i cant take this anymore. anxiety, anxiety, anxiety.

durrrrrrrrrrrrr

2 more weeks… just smile and wait… :D

the scariest part is… .for those that havent been accepted anywhere yet, what happens if we just don’t get accepted to any school… and remain here forever (echoes forever, forever forever…)

just thinking about checking my admissions decision online makes me feel nauseous.

3 more years of cornell, eh…

i dont know guys. something tells me that this just cant be one slice of the pie…the best slice of the pie, at least. my intuition just tells me that although people here have good stats, for the programs we’re applying to, everyone has these kinds of stats…or they wouldnt apply. i just dont know of any 3.4’s or 3.5’s applying to penn or something…i think that they would lose hope and not apply. and thus, making the applicant pool stronger…am i wrong?

NAAWWWWWSCIIoUSSS.

^^^^ yeah probably. im guessing all of our gpas are pretty good. (well its required to transfer with good standing…)

Cornell is a great school, but i can understand how you feel, it’s big!!!
Best of luck with your schools

but at the same time, you can get more motivated in your work knowing people who are better than you :D

best of luck everyone!

transferobsessed… I also applied to Yale and Stanford – figured if I was going to make a fool of myself, might as well go for the top, heh. What about you?

newbyreborn… nah I got rejected from Dartmouth last year and figured I’d try again. I’m at a New England LAC, pretty great, but no Dartmouth. where else are you applying?

we’re almost there, guys… Good luck as always.
