Did Tulane go to the waitlist for the class of 2029

Tulane has made several announcements about waitlist movement:

  • Tulane admissions communicated they had admitted 45 students from the waitlist as of May 5, and at that point said 'we have exceeded our first year enrollment goal"
  • In the first week of June Tulane admissions said they would admit 50 from the waitlist, and that there was no institutional merit or need based aid left. (So, presumably only full pay students will be admitted from the waitlist.)

Did Tulane send an email saying it intended to take another 50 students? My son is on the waitlist and did not receive an email about this.

The communication went to counselors. Not sure if it went to students too.

Your students best bet is to reach out to the Admissions person that serves your region and ask if the waitlist is closed. They are typically pretty responsive.
