Waitlist option on Wolverine access for registering classes

<p>hey all CC’ers, </p>

<p>I wanted to swap lab sections for a lab, but keep the same lab lecture. I was wondering if I should drop the lab and get on the waitlist for the same lab, but just a different section for the actual lab because all of them are currently on wait list, and I am already in a lab but for specific reasons I need to change. I tried swapping and clicking the wait list option but that didn’t work. Do I have to drop first, and then get on the waitlist because I don’t want to lose the spot I’m already in and risk the rest of my schedule. </p>

<p>Or do I have to drop it and risk the wait list which would jeopardize the rest of my schedule. How succesful is the waitlist for labs? I’m so sorry for long and confusing post but I’m a freshman and really need the help.</p>

<p>alright I’m #2 on the waitlist for the lab. I was wondering what are the chances/likelihood of being waitlisted for a class? Are they usually successful?</p>

<p>I can tell you that my lab which was full at the beginning of the year had like 5 people drop within the first 2 or 3 weeks. I don’t know if this is a usual situation or what, but you’ve definitely got a reasonable chance.</p>
