<p>I got waitlisted at my top choice…Stanford!..is there anything i can do (something extra) to get in…anyone who has been waitlisted there who got in later have any advice please…ive been rejected to all the ivies except penn…waitlisted at Brown…i dont need financial aid…please help im desperate?</p>
<p>WL offers are given if enough slots open up from those initially offered admission. Unless you can affect that (which of course you can’t), there’s really nothing you can substantially do. Your file shows that you’re a viable candidate-- that’s a fact. However, just pray that there are tons of kids like you (i.e. bring to the table the same qualities or from the same geographic/demographic) that are turning down Stanford.</p>
<p>However, congrats on the Penn acceptance. It’s a great school. GL on your Brown and Stanford situations, however.</p>
