anyone hear anything about BC or Notre Dame??

Just read an article in Middlebury’s online newspaper discussing enrollment. Looks like they have already reached their target enrollment without going to waitlist. Also said they accepted 200 less this year so as not to over enroll the 12 class

Middlebury will not use waitlist for 2012- see: [College meets desired enrollment - News](http://media.www.middleburycampus.com/media/storage/paper446/news/2008/05/08/News/College.Meets.Desired.Enrollment-3366995.shtml)

I just got off the UNC waitlist today!!!

well… don’t worry! i just got off the waitlist at Princeton! so if I got off the waitlist, then maybe you’ll be a chance too!

and btw… does anyone know how to start a new post? I’m a new member, as in I just regostered 5 minutes ago. Thanks!

^^Congratulations!
What all did everyone who was accepted off waitlist do?

Did you mean “start new post” or “new thread”?
To start a new thread, just go to desired subforum, and click the big button on the top that say “New Thread” (It resembles “Post Reply” button, just above your post)

P.S. - it’s my 333th post! (reminds me of “Half evil” graphics)

lovehina, where will you turn down for P*ton?

Add Dickinson to active list. Heard on good authority that a few were taken off already and waitlist might be used again. Good luck, waitlisted students!

i was NYU stern

Anything from Barnard? Anyone?

Has anyone heard from, or about Cornell?

Hey I just talked to the Dartmouth rep, who was visiting my school today. Apparently while the admins offices is still being rather ambiguous, she says that it is clear that Dartmouth was able to reach their target class this year. She said as of now they won’t use the waitlist, and if this were any other year they would not use it. Nevertheless they are still keeping it open to see if any “Trickle down” occurs with Harvard Princeton or Columbia using waitlist. My impression was that they overenrolled :-\ ugghh oh well

Wesleyan?

Ugh, I REALLY hope they haven’t over-enrolled… I tried so hard to get in. I understand if they just don’t take me, but if they don’t go to the waitlist at all, my effort will have been totally for nothing. : (

PS I know somebody who got in off the NYU waitlist, too, but s/he’s not going to go. So there’s one more slot for somebody!

Any news from Georgetown, are they going to the wait list? Has anyone been accepted?

has anyone heard anything about the pitt waiting list? i think i got waitlisted because i applied so late (february) but i really want to go there. all i did was send an additional essay and email the office of admissions saying that i am very interested in enrolling. my gpa is 3.7 and i got 620 cr and 600 m, 720 writing on my sat’s. i played one sport and was in 2 clubs…any opinions about my chances of getting in?

Any word on Grinnell?

There is conflicting information. According to phone call to Cornell Arts & Sciences, they will not know whether they will go to the waitlist until May 12th at the earliest.

Any news for the waitlist at Miami University (Oxford, OH)? Where do you find the list that is posted? Thanks.
