Golberg2:
Thanks man!!!

Thanks Goldberg2, I really hope you get into Tufts!

jrpar, i heard that they are looking to increase their size when i was there for a visit in april… the tour guide said that they increase the size every year… last year they let in 38 from the waiting list and the class size was 744, an increase from the previous years which were averaging 700.

secondly, the girl i ate lunch with said they were looking to expand slightly, but that was a student opinion.

hey anyone heard anything from Bowdoin yet?

William and mary still active?

i feel like most colleges are basically done… :(

I think I would have to disagree, I think there will be some, but not a lot of action until mid june

^^ I’m inclined to agree with that.

^^you are a hopeful as well, this is the best year to get accepted off of the waiting list, and since there was so much action during May, especially late may, most of the response deadlines from those schools are in early june, so then the schools, who lost people from the first round of waiting lists now have to go into their waiting lists, this will be a slow trickling process, and will be painful for everyone including admissions offices

i got into rhodes off the high wait list. it was a good day.

on a sunday? or yesterday

ha, no, awhile ago.

I’m on Carleton’s Second waitlist, and it is agonizing. I have a feeling they’re not going to go to their waitlist. Their target size was 490, and they have 496 enrolled I think. Their classes are usually around 510, but I don’t think that means they’ll be accepting students off the waitlist. If they wanted students off the waitlist they would have taken them the first round.

has anyone heard anything about anything? have any of you gotten in after the second wave?

@cubbies: It seems like the second wave at Penn is beginning. I got a call from my regional rep today, but nothing official as of yet, I’m still keeping my fingers crossed.

for Penn did u have straight As all throughout high school to get a spot on the waitlist? just wondering…

i’m still waiting on boston college! i’m getting really frustrated with them. if they don’t want me, tell me now so I can move on and go to another school! i’d hate applying to a community college and do all this work and then end up not going there.

Slim2none. Are you serious?? What exactly did your rep say?? Numbers and all?? I’m waititng on Penn as well.

UVA Waitlist Active. Dean J’s blog says letters going out next week.

Dartmouth took a few off the waitlist on the 16th. They notified via e-mail. Don’t know if they will be taking any more

Dartmouth took 12-14 off their wait list on the 16th
