WAITLIST TESTING? (please answer!)

I need at least a 1300 (CR+M) to be competitive for scholarships at 2 schools I am considering, and well over a 1300 for my reach school; I got a 1280, with 700 in CR and 580 in M. I’m not very great at math, but I studied all summer and was really surprised by this score. I thought I did really well on the test too, but I was really sick that day, so I may have not done my best.

Anyways, I have a Nov 1st deadline for one of the schools, and the other 2 are Nov. 15. Is taking the waitlist test worth it? It’s $94, which is ridiculous, but that’s only a little bit of money compared to college tuition.

Yes it’s a relatively small investment

Yea… The late fee is $50 but I think that money is worth it.

College Board is nothing less than Bain Capital…

Thanks; I signed up and am cramming like crazy for math. As long as that’ll get me 20 more points…

But just a question if anyone knows: I took one math section on a practice test (20 questions, no grid-in) and missed two. If I were to miss 2 on each section (I know this isn’t exactly accurate and I am going to do the other math sections this week), what would my score be? I’m just trying to get a general idea.

I just took a practice test and missed 1 or 2 on each of the 3 sections (2 of the 6 I missed were grid-ins). I got a 680 on it. If you miss 2 per section, and they aren’t grid-ins, you’ll get like a 600-660. But I really recommend taking the other sections and scoring them all.

Oh, well I’m aiming for something over a 600 in math, so that’s good! I’m doing the rest now.
