<p>Pratt… for BME. no, i didn’t send in anything, so i was honestly shocked to get off the waitlist so early</p>

Jimmy got a phone call today, too. He’s been accepted to Pratt off the waitlist!
He never sent in any more info or anything- simply had responded to remain on the waitlist.</p>

<p>He was totally shocked to find out today, too. (Especially since he had literally just walked in the door from the airport and his visit to Rice)</p>

<p>congratulations Jimmy! haha… similar story with me… i had just walked in the door from the gym when my mom called me over telling me Duke was on the phone!</p>

<p>What did you say when they called? Do they allow you to think about it?</p>

<p>they said “if we told you we would take you off the waitlist and admit you… would you accept?”
and i said “i dont know right this second! but i would definitely consider it”
and he said “no i mean you don’t need to decide right now but would you like to be admitted”
and i said “YES YES YES absolutely”</p>

<p>Congratulations! You are some of the very first of the 3,383 Duke 2014 wait list offerees to actually get acceptances!</p>

<p>Looks like they already know they will be short at Pratt, but will probably need the weekend to figure out how many Trinity places they might have to fill.</p>
