<p>But if I recall, you did get accepted at other colleges, correct? What college do you think you will be attending, then?</p>
<p>Ugh I feel ur pain! I really wanted to go! Looks like I’ll be going to UC Santa Cruz. Community college class registration was last night so classes r probably full, anyways ucsc is a good school just not my top choice. I’ll live with it. Wow I can’t believe I got rejected from nearly all the schools I applied to o.o my grades are good, ecs are good, sat was average, essay was good. Idk what went wrong.</p>
<p>Budget cuts man. Screw budget cuts. Looks like I’ll be going to community college for the next two years. You guys should transfer then we will all be at Davis.</p>

<p>Bookworm - even though I’m not going to Davis, I’ve been checking this thread regularly to see whether you got in off the waitlist. I don’t know what to say now that the decision is in except that I’m so sorry that you had to suffer through this long wait only to be disappointed.

<p>If it’s any comfort at all, UCSB did not admit anyone from its wait list at all. This year has been the worst in terms of UC admissions across the board. From students who though they were shoe-ins to their top choice UCs but only got into their safety UCs to those who didn’t get into any UCs and are now forced out of state or to a local CC, it has just been absolutely brutal. </p>

<p>What the BALLS! really =___= they should’ve just sent out the rejections last week instead of giving us false hopes. Their words were really cold, the message was so short too. Did anyone get accepted today? </p>
<p>I bet if we were all the class of 2004 or something our chances would’ve been higher. I mean back then less people applying. I bet we all could’ve gotten into UCSD at least if we graduated years ago. We are really unlucky this year because of the budget cuts. It just HAS to be the year we will be entering college T____T I’ll go to UCSC, who knows maybe i’ll transfer, or maybe i’ll like it there.</p>
<p>Also got rejected. Eh you know what we all don’t need this. I mean really it’s like thank you for wasting 3 precious weeks of my life with all this anxiety but you know what guys? Things are going to work out and we will all be happy =). I’m going to Boston University so you know what it’s fine. Good luck to everyone. It was a pleasure talking to all of you! Come on guys let’s give props to the best thread ever for a university!</p>
