Waitlisted at Stanford... Should I submit...

My spring semester grades (in progress)? They’re slightly lower than my fall semester grades (6 A’s vs 5 A’s and 1 B). Will Stanford look down on the fact that my grades went down? Anyone?

I wouldn’t, but I doubt that the grade change would lower your chances (since it’s a small change and it’s still in progress).

The same thing happened to my grades as I had straight As my first trimester and earned a B+ in Calculus after my second trimester; I decided not to send the grades because I thought it wouldn’t improve my chances and I thought it was included in the “additional materials” not to send to the Admissions Office. As well, are you thinking of sending it in the mail? It might be a little late for it to arrive on time (if they want all waitlist updates by May 1st).

So I don’t think Stanford will look down on the slight drop, but I also don’t think it will make that much of a difference.

Thanks, I was going to report the grades through the online form.
