I applied to CAS with Mathematics Major and I have been waitlisted.
I actually applied to many different colleges and was rejected to most of them.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to get any acceptances.
But, I received a waitlist in NYU and got deferred (RD) in UMich.
To be honest, I REALLY want to attend NYU.
Thus I was wondering what my chances of getting in if I stayed on the waiting list and appealed more.
I have several more mathematics awards that I could include as well.

So my question is what sorts of additional information would be good to appeal? Is writing another essay about why I truly want to go to NYU okay? In addition, what do you think are my chances of getting off that waitlist?

Thank you so much :D
