I was accepted to a school for Spring 2009, but cannot start in Fall 2008.
I really like the school an would love to go there, but what do I do for those 6 months?

I don’t what to go to any local community colleges (only other colleges I would be able to afford) because none of them are very good. I also can’t do too much travelling unless it’s cheap, though I would love to since I want to major in IR. Any ideas?

Would this school happen to be the University of Maryland, because their spring admit program allows for those admits to enroll in the school in the fall. They just cannot live on campus and have to either commute or live in an apartment.

take some basic courses at your local college, it will save you money and you’ll accumulate credits. Then, you’ll be a freshman only for one semester and star in the following fall as a soph, like every other kid. Othewise, you are only allowed certain courses, some of them remedial and you will lose some time down the way.
