Waitlisted... How much do second semester grades matter?

<p>I’ve been waitlisted (and I am quite honored). On Stanford’s waitlist FAQ page, they specifically mention to NOT send them any recs, documents, etc… and that they will only consider what you write on the waitlist acceptance form (600 characters or something).</p>

<p>Are second semester grades considered? Should they be sent if not requested? Is it of utmost importance for me to work my hardest to get the best grades possible this semester?</p>

<p>no because by the time your second semester grades are available you will know whether you had been admitted or not.</p>
