Does anyone know how hard it is to get off waitlist for lawrencville and peddie. I am wait listed for both the schools. Is there anything I can do to improve my chances at this time?
it’s not easy, that’s for sure. A waitlist is basically like a backup for another student. If that student decides not to go, you get moved up and so on. I would say call the school and tell them you’re interested and just see how it goes from there. Good luck!
Not much you can do at this point. Just show interest. Don’t pester the admissions people now, as they are focused on the revisit days. There are a couple of major timepoints that they look to the waitlist: April 10, date of first tuition payment, and date of second payment.
There is hope, but don’t count on getting in. Just make plans for next year, and if the waitlist comes through, then good for you.

@LC919 I have a neighbor who got off the waitlist of Peddie last year. I was accepted into Peddie this year but declined their offer, and although chances are slim, I’m hoping maybe it opens the spot for one of you guys

It would be odd for any school to reply before A10 because they won’t know their enrollment status until that deadline has passed. After A10 the schools will know if they are underenrolled or not, and by how much. Then they will decide if they need to use their WLs.
