I found out today that I am waitlisted at both UChicago and Bowdoin. My counselor told me the basics of what to do, but should I do anything creative?
Any cool stories? Obviously not going to steal ideas because what’s been done is done. I heard of a guy making some type of book and got off of about 9 waitlists. They were ivies and other top-tiers…hmm…
Creative? Sounds like stunt with roots in somebody I heard about…You are wait listed at two excellent schools and probably have fine offers coming. Be the quality of applicant who made it to wait lists.
I was waitlisted at Bowdoin as well. When you express that you are interested in remaining on the waitist, they give you the option of writing an additional comment. While this may not be inherently creative, what you write in there could catch their attention, at least that’s what I tried to do :). Hopefully they read it, not really sure though.
