<p>First, if you are from Pakistan, there is no point of visiting, its too far.
Second, you will need to reply back to UNC, and make a deposit. If you get admit after your deposit, that’s up to you. You will not get the money you back from UNC. YOu will need to tell UNC that you will not be attending.<br>
Third, I believe UNC is better in medical, and emory is better in political science/ economics.</p>

<p>I believe the most important thing you should do is talk to the admission counselor and keep in touch. Emory is known for “demonstrated interest”. If you are on the top of the list, make sure that your Admission Counselor knows your name. Keep them up with any updates.</p>

<p>Any new awards or special recognition…you don’t know if you are on the top of the list or not…that is why you need to talk to your admission counselor…</p>
<p>email them and tell them that this is your first choice…what can you do to improve…um…just talk to them…or ask them random questions so that they remember your name…when choosing candidates to get off the waitlist…it is a lot easier to the admission people to choose someone that they know will come to their school…</p>
