Hey guys, I didn’t see any threads specifically started for waitlisted applicants, so I thought I’d start one to exchange FAQs about the process. Stanford’s yield dropped, as far as I know, from 72% - 70% from 2008-2009. The article below talks a little about how Stanford used the waitlist more because they overenrolled in previous years - any predictions as to whether this trend will continue, allowing a decent number of students off the waitlist again? I’m crossing my fingers, but remaining realistic (and getting excited about my other options!).
