Hey I’m applying to one school (Ursinus a saftey), and my Sat’s aren’t that great. It says if you are in the top 10% you can have your scores waived. Should I do it? I have 1100.

have them waived?

what are you tlaking about?

michelec - I would say it may also depend on the kinds or level of classes you’ve taken in high school - are they honors or ap classes? I know there are a few other schools that waive the SAT/ACT as well. I believe there are starting to be more and more schools that are adopting that practice.

Yes I have 2 honors classes this year, and 2 AP. Last year I had 3 honors and 1 AP. I’ve taken the most rigorous curriculm my schools offers. Ursinus isn’t that competitive, so I don’t think I’ll have trouble getting in away. Also, waiving my sat’s means that the college won’t consider them in the admissions decision.
