Any word yet on Presidential Scholarship?
When do the RD decisions come out?
I don’t know.
I feel like in years past it’s been the very beginning of March for the Presidential?
Replying to my own reply to let everyone know that it seems they are starting to notify for the Presidential - my daughter got an email today that she is a finalist for dance.
Congrats! Same here. Super exciting.
What are y’all’s stats??
Last year was March 22.
14 ap’s, 3.86 uw, 34 act, 4 yrs varsity athletics, 4 yrs volunteer, 4 yrs law enforcement ec, 12 yrs piano highest leve, 2 yrs pt job, strong recs (Spanish/math), eagle scout, club vp/pres. i don’t have many academic awards/achievements and my ec’s aren’t research/academic focus.
got rejected to rice ed2 last week. wake is up there for me and i visited campus during the summer, so hit the demonstrated interest hard.
Wow! That is some good stats! Are you in state? Does that even matter with Wake?
Wake is private, so in-state vs. out-of-state is not necessarily a factor like it would be for Chapel Hill, NC State, etc.
Anyone know how many applications awake received this year ED, EA or RD? How many acceptances have already gone out?

Are you test optional? looks like you check many of the boxes WFU considers.
Unfortunately yes….I’ve only
Attempted the ACT and got a 25….. I could have gotten in the 30s to
Be completely honest but I just didn’t have time to study.
based on wf’s cds, a low percentage of applicants submit scores, so you’re in good company. i started with sat and scored in the low 1400’s - hated the adaptive testing. switched to act and squeaked out a decent score, probably could’ve gotten one point higher but wasn’t willing to put in the time.
will be interested to hear your outcome. I’m rooting for you!
Same here!! What state are you from? I’m in state (but that doesn’t matter apparently) I also applied to UNC, Davidson, snd College of the Holy Cross regular too (was waiting until my rank and GPA got better. I applied to NC-State early with everything same expect different GPA and rank (4.28 weighted and 3.8 unweighted and ranked 33/176) and I got deferred (as human bio major)…i changed my major to nutrition science so we’ll see and my senior grades boosted my stats
ok.
