Does anyone know when the first round of admits will be announced this year?
Based on previous years, my guess would be Sept. 27th? Seems like it’s always the last Friday of the month?

My daughter just got a notification that her ED agreement was approved. Any idea if that is a good sign?
I don’t know the answer but maybe! I just checked my daughter’s portal and it still says received near the ED agreement. She applied in august but had the interview early September so guessing her decision won’t come out until next month.
same here, haven’t heard anything yet.
My daughter heard last night. Admitted. She completed everything in August.

Congratulations, would you mind sharing her stats?
Sure. She had a 34 ACT, 3.97 UW GPA at rigorous private school. Max APs allowed at her school ( 3 starting Junior year), rigorous course load. Typical EC, one large leadership position with volunteer organization. I would classify her as a typical hardworking successful student- no obvious spikes in her application.

DD just submitted her ED app last night but it doesn’t look like her school got all its pieces in by Sept 30. I’m assuming this means she won’t hear until end of November. Anyone had experience where the application was in but not all the supporting pieces? Thanks!
Did you hear end, or still waiting? I think we will be in your shoes but a month behind…

Sigh…I guess it will be end of November for DD.
Did you have all your materials in, and just the interview was in September? And did you hear yet?
Another question: DD submitted the form to request an interview the first day she got it (yesterday) and received a (nice) form confirmation that the request was received, they’d be back in touch within a week or two if they could accommodate the interview, but b/o an increase in applications, they can’t accommodate all requests. If they can’t offer an interview, she’ll have a new 5-day window to submit a video if she wants.
Did those who applied in August also receive this? Or did you all just get interviews?

My kid applied in August, submitting the common app the evening of Aug 26 (post SAT). The app was confirmed received I believe either Aug 27 or 28. The school sent its last stuff in Aug 28. There were interviews available for booking but they were in late September, and my kid wanted to try to make the end of August deadline, so opted to do the video, completing it by Aug 29. We heard on Fri Sep 27 - accepted. The video is a perfectly viable alternative if you can’t get an interview!

So helpful – thank you! I think she is definitely not going to hear until the end of November group. She submitted her application the evening of September 30, and it wasn’t confirmed in their portal until the next day anyway…so the school being late with its pieces isn’t what tipped her out of the October decision group. But good to know the interview slots could be several weeks away. She will def want to be in the Nov decision group, so the interview – if it happens – would need to be done before the end of the month too…
My DD submitted everything in August (including video-interviews weren’t available until September) and was accepted on Friday.

I think the interviews went really quickly. My daughter submitted 8/3, but portal not set up until 8/21. Her friend submitted later but got her portal the next day. my daughter got her interview immediately but her friend was delayed until 9/6.
