Anyone else feeling nervous too ?
You guys have me nervous I applied to Wake and Tulane in January and got into Tulane but haven’t heard back from Wake. Hearing your GPAs versus my 3.48 at state school is scaring me lol. I mean I was in engineering this year and taking all STEM classes so I hope they consider that… Also I really hope they send the decisions out soon I’m dying.

@nbau01 i applied on december 9th and still haven’t heard anything, it seems like most of the people that have heard so far are in business so maybe they were looking at those spots first?? i hope they send them out soon too, it’s making me so nervous!! good luck and congrats on tulane!!

my friends who go there LOVE it. And I never thought about schools releasing decisions for different majors at different times lol maybe they all do that and it’s not as weird as I think. At least now I know how they release the decisions, because I was worried I just wasn’t finding it.
Hey! I applied before the initial March deadline and got in a week ago for communications. I’m guessing a lot more applied but also just haven’t been on cc.
Yeah I think @heyigotnoclue and I are in the same late boat. I wonder why some people who applied later are hearing back first.
This could just be me imagining things, but did y’all think that the emails we were getting to submit our application were pretty encouraging (if you submitted after the deadline was extended)?

Got in last night, class of 2023. Political Science major. I applied on March 15th but did not get all my materials in til April 16th. Super excited, thank you everyone for the information and the help navigating through the application process. Good luck everyone!!

i’m just confused because i applied so early and had all my materials in at the beginning of december, but i still haven’t heard anything. it’s making me lean towards thinking that i didn’t get in, which just means it wasn’t meant to be i guess. i hope i’m wrong though!
@hboyd3 I understand, it’s very nerve-racking. Just think, because these decisions are rolling (and due to the virus) they are spending a lot of time with these applications. I don’t have the best stats cause I went through some stuff first semester this year but I threw a Hail Mary out there. Of course we’d love to go to Wake, and I so hope you get in, but just know that if it doesn’t work out there is a reason just like there is a reason for everything. It may not make sense now but remember that college is just 4 years of your life that most of us on this chat are halfway through, and we’ll all be okay!
@hboyd3 I’m sure the decision doesn’t affect when the application comes out! I’m sure things are just super crazy in their admissions office and they’re disorganized and releasing decisions in a really strange way. I’m also sure that people have receive rejection letters by now, so it can’t just be the people who were accepted who were already notified. I wouldn’t worry about the other people getting their decisions!

Hey y’all I’m back to the party. I applied early-mid February and still haven’t heard anything. I applied for business as well and I’m a junior. I’ve heard that admissions is rolling and then I’ve heard that decisions come out some time in May so not really sure what’s going on. I assume that since I haven’t gotten my decision by now that I don’t have high chances of getting accepted. Just waiting for William & Mary and then I’ll have all my decisions
@hmg1999 @nbau01 thank you for those words of encouragement! this is a difficult process especially during the pandemic, and i know the admissions office is probably overwhelmed with making decisions and responding to accepted freshmen. wake is the only school that i applied to, so i’m really hoping that it works out. but i know it’ll all work out in the end! hopefully we’ll all hear this week:)

Wake was also the only school I applied to so the way that I’m thinking about it is if it’s meant to be I’ll get in and if I’m meant to be at the school I go to now it wasn’t! I am just really curious as to the order they’re releasing decisions rn cause it makes me nervous haha
Anyone get any decisions back? I know on their website it says decisions will be released by mid-May. Do we think they’ll come out sooner?
@needingachange so does that mean you don’t need to apply directly into the business school when you attend? I applied to Wake and put down business as my major
