Does anyone know how long we have until we have to give them our decision if accepted? I’ve gotten into two other schools besides Wake so far (waiting on five more) and both have specified May 8th and June 1st as their deposit deadline. While I want to weigh out my options as they roll in I wouldn’t want to risk “losing” wake since its one of my top choices.

It seems to me that they are releasing decisions every Thursday night/Friday. People heard on the 17th and the 24th. I’m guessing another wave might come out tomorrow or Friday. I plan on calling admissions tomorrow to see what they say.
Other scenario is that they made all their offers of admission already over the past two weeks since that’s who they care about most. Despite the deadline being moved to April 15th to submit applications they’re still cranking out those decisions.
Something tells me that if you hear back closer to May 15th then that is not good news. If they want you they will contact you pretty quick and early. I wonder what their method is because me and some others applied in February and December have not received decisions yet people who applied late March/mid-April for theirs.
My question is for those accepted does it give you a date on your portal for when to enroll by? I know for University of Richmond and William & Mary it’s by May 15th.
@Lfriel I also wonder if the people who haven’t heard back, especially those who applied February and December, are going to need to submit end of semester grades and that’s why they’re waiting.
@hmg1999 Well I don’t start exam till mid May and my grades won’t be done until the last week so they’re gonna be waiting awhile if that’s the case

I’m also thinking that they might be waiting for acceptance responses before they offer more spots… but I hope that comes sooner rather than later cause I have a lot of things up in the air regarding next year!
Has anyone asked their admissions counselor when the deadline for a response is?
Accepted on the 17th. Response due on May 1st. You basically have 2 weeks to respond. Rolling admission. Will be declining spot in the business school and thinking happy thoughts for those still waiting to hear and with Wake as your first choice. Excellent school!
Actually, transfer students are not accepted directly into the business school. Students must complete at least one semester at Wake then apply to the business school during the following spring semester.
@jjorda22 That’s what I thought. I got into a couple other schools that require you to do that for business, so I don’t understand how some people are getting direct entrance into the business school even though you can’t apply into it. If I get in I will most likely not go as I am about to be a junior already and I would lose a ton of credits and can’t go somewhere that will not give me a guarantee into the business school. I have lost about 40-50 credits at other schools… automatic no there.
So it sounds deadline for decisions is between May 15th and June 1st. I think they are either waiting for responses or they’re about to send out another wave tonight/tomorrow.

For future reference I was going to be a junior majoring in business. Got accepted to William and Mary and University of Richmond. Rejected from UNC CH and Wake Forest.
Just got a rejection too, Wake was the only place I applied so even though I’m obviously sad I’m just going to take it as a sign it wasn’t meant to be!
