Wake Forest or Notre Dame?

Time is running out to choose between WF and ND. Package is the same but still don’t know how many credits will be transfer to ND

I’d lean towards ND. These are fairly different schools in fairly different parts of the country.

WF accepted 33 plus 3 AP credits, ND so far ???

Both great schools so the answer is ‘it depends’. What are your criteria for choosing a school in the first place? What do you plan to study? Where do you want to live and form your network? Which one fits you better?

Both schools are great. I would give a slight edge to ND, but you can’t really go wrong. Good luck!

Notre Dame

if you are transferring from another college, go to the school where you can complete a major on time. they are both great schools!

Those are great schools, so congrats! I personally would also choose Notre Dame. I haven’t visited Wake Forest, but ND is absolutely gorgeous. The facilities are great, food is good, academics obviously are stellar.

thanks for all feedbacks only one disadvantage with ND is housing so WF have a little slight edge.My intended major is pre-med

What is the cost of the “off campus” housing right next to campus. It was built to attract students.

It depends on what area/ what apartment. It ranges from $650 and up plus utilities.

So if you take an apartment plus the meal plan how does that compare to housing on campus and meal plan? Two of those apartment complexes are pretty much on campus.

Depends on what your preferences are. For example, ND would be a strong fit for me because Im religious and a big football fan. Norte Dame, being a Catholic school with a historic football program would be perfect. Not to mention the academic quality.

You can’t go wrong with either. Norte Dame might be slightly better academically. In my opinion, a handful of lost credits aren’t the end of the world in the long run if you think Norte Dame is the better option

Both are good choices, but I agree with the majority here and would go with ND. If you can deal with the colder weather, the academics at ND are phenomenal and football Saturdays are amazing. If you haven’t already, maybe call admissions at ND and discuss if they is someone in their office or at ResLife who can help you with housing options.

Notre Dame is more prestigious and more highly ranked, but Wake Forest is decent in its own right.

ND is known all over. There are many parts of the country that have never heard of WF.

Find out about the transfer credits.

How’s your GPA? Both schools are pretty competitive academically, meaning gradewise you need to keep up.

my GPA 4.0

July 30: WF accepts 33 credit plus 3 AP, ND still unknown

TIME UP
DECISION HAS BEEN MADE
WF = 36 - ND = 0
WF HAD WON THE GAME
