Out of state, No interview, no visit; compelling essay for program; interest in first year study abroad; 3.54/4.2 gpa, ACT 29/31 superscore; 4 ap’s (greatly limited offerings by school, but they report that they offer a lot) so so community service; lots of long term extra curriculars only 1 with leadership, no sports.
Compared to many of you, I would think she never had a chance of even being wait listed. I think it really has a lot to do with the program you are choosing. What is the competition in THAT program. At wake, her program is under a physics major instead of in engineering. I am betting looking at the engineering department would have been a worse ending.
