I recently got into both Delaware and Wake Forest. I received a large scholarship from Delaware but no money from Wake. I have narrowed down my decision to these two schools. I’m thinking about majoring in communications. Are there any options to receive financial aid at wake forest once you are already admitted? I.e. money for being in the marching band etc.? Similarly, is it worth the cost? Wake has been my dream school for years and my parents said they will try to find a way to pay for it, but will I be more successful because of it or should I stick with Delaware?

Personally would not recommend paying sticker for a BA in communications.
UD has a really great communications program, but you have to maintain a certain GPA to stay in it. I’m sure that won’t be a problem. I would choose UD because its less expensive and also a really fun/good academic school. Especially with a major like communications, where you go to school won’t matter as much as how you do in school, and the connections you make.
