Wake Forest vs Carnegie Mellon

Would it be better to go to Carnegie Mellon or Wake Forest for business/economics and maybe physics? Also which do you think is more fun? I am afraid Wake Forest is going to get boring since it isn’t in a fun city like Pittsburgh. But I’ve also heard the Carnegie Mellon isn’t exactly a “fun” school.

Carnegie Mellon has a more prestigious business school and is overall more prestigious so I think it has better placement in ibanking/finance (if that is what you are interested in).

CMU’s Business, Engineering and Science programs are far superior compared to Wake Forest’s.

Winston-Salem has a definite artsy vibe – it is the home of the North Carolina School of the Arts and has several community theatre companies as well as numerous museums, one of which (Reynolda House) adjoins the WF campus. The city has a minor league baseball team that people support and has a number of good restaurants. The Wake campus itself has a good deal of Greek life. Like CM, WF is academically rigorous (you’ve probably heard the nickname “Work Forest”). Climate is a plus for Wake – you get a change of seasons without as much winter, and spring comes a good bit earlier than it does in Pittsburgh.
