Also, it’s unfortunate you’re expressing yourself in such an unproductive way as one of your posts makes an excellent point that I myself had not thought about…Wake’s endowment is well behind that of comparable institutions at $1.3 billion.
For example, University of Richmond, a similar size school drawing from a similar applicant pool, has an endowment almost twice Wake’s at $2.5 billion. Wake’s comparatively more modest assets could explain the pervasive sense I had while our daughter was at Wake that the school was constantly scrambling to make money off its students, and rationing out limited amenities and resources.
